This bodhran features a 5.5-inch-deep tunable shell constructed from lightweight plywood, coated in black. The plywood construction allows for a deeper shell without significantly increasing the drum’s weight, which is approximately 3 pounds. The T-bar is removable, and the tuning mechanisms are located internally for a clean aesthetic. A single tipper and tuning wrench are included.
