Description

  • The MID-EAST Baroque-uleles offer an extensive range of options, making them a highly versatile instrument line. Their design draws inspiration from the round-back guitar prevalent in Germany.
  • The Tenor-sized instrument, with a scale length of 430 mm (17 inches), features a European spruce soundboard adorned with a rosette design inspired by a lute crafted by Magno Stegher in 1607. The back is crafted from a combination of alternating staves of rosewood and lacewood, creating a round-back or bowl shape. The neck is solid rosewood and boasts a nut width of 37 mm (1 1/2 inches) equipped with a cattle-bone nut.
  • Standard friction ukulele tuners are integrated into the instrument, allowing for precise tuning by adjusting the screw on the top of each tuner. The bridge, crafted from rosewood, incorporates a genuine cattle-bone saddle. An end-pin strap button is also included.
  • The Baroque-uleles are available in four sizes: Soprano, Concert, Tenor, and Baritone. Each size boasts its own distinctive rosette design, inspired by museum examples from the 16th and 17th centuries.
  • Furthermore, the Baroque-ulele offers three options for the back: rosewood, lacewood, or variegated with alternating staves of rosewood and lacewood. Finally, to cater to individual preferences, these instruments are available with two types of tuning keys: standard ukulele friction tuners.
  • In summary, the MID-EAST Baroque-uleles provide a comprehensive selection of instruments, each with its unique characteristics and design elements, ensuring that players can find the perfect instrument to suit their musical needs.
