Description

This six-course oud features a classic tear-drop shape and bowl bottom. It is crafted from LACEWOOD and includes seven wound nylon strings and four rectified nylon strings, as well as a fixed LACEWOOD bridge. The body and neck are made from LACEWOOD, and the bowl is adorned with black pinstripes between each wooden stave. The tuning pegs are crafted from COCUSWOOD, and the soundboard is made from spruce wood. A walnut wood pick guard is positioned at the bottom to prevent scratching the soundboard during playing. This oud boasts a remarkable selection of woods and exceptional craftsmanship.

Multiple tuning options are available for the instrument, but we recommend using the Arabic method: DGADGC. The oud possesses a range spanning over three octaves.
