The instrument is crafted from alternating staves of lacewood and walnut, with the soundboard constructed from spruce. The neck features alternating solid boards of lacewood and walnut, creating a visually appealing two-toned appearance. The spruce soundboard is equipped with 15 frets, comprising nine movable strings and six fixed wooden frets. The tuning pegs are made of wooden tapered pegs. The instrument has ten strings, with five strings forming two-string courses, consisting of nylon and silver-wound strings. A single sound hole, situated centrally on the soundboard, is notably ornate, featuring four layers of parchment-style rosettes.

Suggested tuning: A, D, G, B, E (range A2 - E5).
