The Heather Harp by MID-EAST features Chelby levers Vine design hand-carved into the side panels. The smooth and sleek appearance of the Chelby levers is reflected in their functionality. Compared to standard MID-EAST harp levers, the Chelby levers are mechanically superior. The design permits the lever to engage the string from the side, preventing strings from lifting off the bridge pin. Professional harpists appreciate the red and blue-coloured caps, which facilitate the identification of the C- and F-string levers. The lever is secured to its base by a hex bolt, and a synthetic washer is positioned between the lever and base, ensuring a smooth and controlled lifting action that resists slipping once engaged. The base of each lever is attached to the harp arm via two screws, allowing for necessary adjustments. The bridge pins for the Chelby levers have also been enhanced, enabling simple adjustment in or out using a hex wrench.

The harp is equipped with 22 DuPont hard nylon strings spanning from C3 to C6, 22 sharpening levers, an engraved and inlaid ROSEWOOD frame, and a high-quality ply soundboard, delivering exceptional sound and strength. Overall dimensions: 36” L x 9” H x 18.5” W.
