This authentic Gothic harp, crafted by The Early Music Shop, U.K., draws inspiration from iconographical examples of French Gothic harps. Its body, arm, and pillar are crafted from walnut, while the soundboard is constructed from plywood. The harp is equipped with 29 DuPont nylon strings, tuned from F2 to F6. Unlike contemporary harps, the Gothic harp is not strung from the back. Each string is held in place within the soundboard by tension and a small button-topped peg. This non-standing lap harp features delicate lines and graceful arm and pillar, accentuated by fluid curves. Its beauty is sure to captivate you. The harp measures 40 inches in length and 20 inches in depth. The base of the resonator has a width of 5.25 inches and a depth of 2.25 inches. A tuning tool and an additional string set are included as accessories.
