This bodhran features a 16-inch plywood shell, black-painted with a black leather band and gold-coloured tacks. The upgraded tuning mechanism eliminates the need for a tuning wrench. It is a 6-inch deep tenable bodhran with a natural goat skin head. The plywood construction allows the drum shell to be over 6 inches deep while maintaining a weight of approximately 3 pounds, making it lightweight for extended play. One tipper is included.
